The Positive Side of being in Finland

Oh! God! Such a dark n horribly cold the weather is....where the light is hardly for 6 hours... Getting up early(having no other option) for me sometimes....Actually all the time, seems to be criminal...commuting even for dropping n picking up Arnav from school is becoming a Herculean task ...snow...snow....only this white snow...at one point I want to confess that it was nasty situation for me...but Finns changed my perspective..

For those who migrate from there homeland around the globe may understand this. My very first write up after stepping here started with negative line....I don't like this lonely planet...I am not going to live here...it's not my cup of tea...what a waste if we stay here...what is going to happen to Arnav's education...what about totally alien language...n so on...I was totally appalled by my husband's decision to migrate here. To be true to myself ...I was dismayed by coming here after UK which is preferably better version of India or may I say because we see so many Indians around and that makes it more special and off course we know Britain then any other country.

But what happened that made Finland special to me? I think the very fragrance of Finnish summer started getting absorbed inside my poetic side. Left for many years my childhood hobby....painting was oozing out of my heart...once again I wanted to paint...I wanted to paint the boundless picturesque beauty of nature around...the shear silence of woods...resonating my soul...actually it's hard to pen down what exactly one feels when we are in the company of OUR OWN SOUL...getting indulge with your inner self sometimes makes you better person and keep tapping you to follow your left dream..so this is why this part of the world became special to me .

Why only this? I learnt a lot in fact still learning from Finns around. We...citizens of east are blessed ones..with nice weather off course and that sometimes make us lazy or should I say at ease always..but Finns they are graciously laborious. They know that they can't fight with harsh climate so they enjoy it..great to be apart of nation where kids never hide at home even if it's -20 degrees.. They play and embrace the snow...so now it's my turn to learn...learn to live to fullest ..Hats off Finns ..
